Jairo Guarin - BIOBorn in Bogota D.C, Colombia, Jairo Guarin is the second son of Janeth Sandoval, (journalist and former pilot), and the third son of Heriberto Guarin, (a business administrator).
He decends from european families who emigrated from Italy, Spain and Germany to Colombia, and he grew up in a multigenerational family household surrounded by excellent professionals and also well-traveled persons like their ancestors. When he was only 3 years old, Jairo was taught to write and read by his grandmother Anita, who was the headmistress of an Elementary, Middle and High school and the only student from Bogota's Superior Normal School to earn the Higest Grade Award. He started to show special interest into acting at a very young age, making his first performances shows at 4, and later in the school when the teachers pick him up for the school theater club. Jairo then was raised in Spain, and he began to be trained in different martial arts styles since he was 9. His love for these disciplines and his passion for the movies took him again into acting for small theaters, and later for regional shows making street exhibitions with a team of martial artists and performers he was co-leading then. They also participated in a Fine Arts program of choreography filming directed by a former agency of short films. Jairo Guarin studied Sports Science in UCAM University, with an emphasis on physical expression and stage choreography, and he continued his family tradition of world-traveling to learn about the variety of cultures. In January 2017 he participated in the iPOP! event (International Presentation of Performers) at Millenium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, CA. He is actually working as a voice actor in different characters and creatures roles for the video game Wild Guardians by Corsegames. ''Dreams are not illusions, but visions of what we can achieve.
